Modern Family is a funny show aired on CBS that shows the life of one big family. The first family consists of Clair, her husband Phil, and their three kids Luke, Hailey, and Alex. The second family consists of a gay Mitchell, his life partner Cameron, and their adopted Vietnamese daughter Lily. The third and final family consists of an older Jay, his beautiful wife Gloria, and her child Manny. Jay is the father of Clair and Mitchell, and the show just shows how life is in the hectic family. I think that Modern Family is so successful because as people watch it they can look at their own family and laugh at the similarities. I also believe that it is succesful, is because it incorporates new age life like adoption and gay marriage into an old school family way of life. With Modern family covering all the bases of a crazy family, a lot of different people can relate in different areas. This show really is funny though. Modern Family is a great TV show that I would recommend to anyone of any age, and especially to family’s, because then they can all laugh at each other and have a good time watching it together.
